Welcome to the Sun Cup!
Estero, FL: Friday, May 3rd, 2013
After four grueling rounds – one of which was cancelled for unseasonable weather – and the ultimate test over 18 holes at Old Corkscrew, Tom Tower of Trumbull, CT became Champion of the Second Annual Sun Cup. Tower's net 66 earned him a four-stroke victory over runnerup David Wilson of Clarkston, MI, along with 23 fellow flight champions and top finishers. Tower and Wilson were the only net scores under par for the round.
JT Foster of Dalton, GA shot 74 to finish 3rd, and Dana Boyette of Nashville, TN shot 83 to claim women's honors on the day.
The remaining Sun Cup participants also enjoyed a fun day at Old Corkscrew, playing in groups for skins and other prizes.
We'd like to thank everyone who participated with us in the 2013 Sun Cup! We hope to see you in the 2014 Sun Cup, too!
